A humorous anecdote about Bhagavan Ramana

I recently heard this humorous anecdote about Ramana Maharshi. When he was a

student in the school in his village, one day one of his teachers asked him

a question, which he was not able to answer. The teacher asked him to write

out the answer ten times as a punishment and show it to him the next day.

Years later the same teacher went to Tiruvannamalai, prostrated before the

Maharshi and said, " Bhagavan, I want to ask you a few questions " . Bhagavan

replied, " It was only to escape from your questions that I ran away from

home and came here, and now you are pursuing me even here with your

questions! " .
