Guest guest
Dear All, pranams. I have a related question regarding the last topic about the perception of the world by the jnani. It seems that we cannot discard, within the relative level, that Self-Realization may bring, at the BMI level, some chemical and neurological changes that may affect the view that that specific BMI will have to see the world. In cases like Sri Bhagavan (Ramana Maharshi) His Realization caused a neurological disruption that followed him the rest of his life (shaking of his body). I remember reading also that Neem Karoli Baba was given by one of his devotees (Ram Dass) a very big dose of LSD and he didn't seem to alter his behavior (definitely his neurological system must have been different to react or non-react in this way). For other Self-Realized Beings (granted that such a notion only exists at the realitve level in the eye of the ignorant ajnani) it seemed to have been different, a smooth transition. Science revealed recently that there is a part of the brain where is embeded the " sense of self " where, if that part is damaged, the individual seems to loose the notion of " individuality " , and even more recently there is the case of this (already famous) brain-neurologist lady that had a stroke, and part of her left brain being damaged, she seems to experience bliss and sense of unity all the time (according to her of course). All this introduction to point out that in certain cases, the karmic-play is already in place to produce a BMI that will be " wired " (neurologically) to transmit awakening, maybe is the case of great Mahatmas. Their BMI is " different " even from the start (many can become great musicians, but there will be only a very few Mozarts). My question is how much the Understanding/Knowledge, when sinking in the Heart, as a fact, will produce such chemical changes in the BMI, that will makes us see the world in a very " different " way... Thank you, Yours in All, Mouna (The only difference between a mad person and me is that I am not mad. Salvador Dali)
