Guest guest
HARI AUM An equal understanding of these terms with its present and past relevance is of great value. Thanks Shree Sastriji. Probably this aspect is what could be missing among most people. Resultantly these much knowledge, due to its lackness in proper understanding in application in daily life has left this nation (read people) bereft of its rightful prosperity. Though Bhagavan said in 'gita' 7/11 that 'I am desire of beings which are not against 'dharma'' most people reject 'desires' altogether. This utter rejection leads to regression and faulty mental and personal situations resulting in underperformance and underachievement in all walks of one's life affecting the nation in the end. Thanks again for the right interpretation. Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage. Thanks Shree Sastriji. Probably this aspect is what could be missing among most people. Namaste, It should be pointed out, though, that Gita distinguishes dravyamaya (material) from j~naanamaya (spiritual) yaj~na, and deems the latter as superior to the former (4:33). In fact, study of the Gita itself is a j~naana-yaj~na (18:70). The purpose of the yaj~na is spelled out in 3:9; actions performed for any reason other than as yaj~na is cause for bondage. If the 'desire' is for any purpose other than pleasing the Supreme Spirit (parameshvara-priityarthaM), vain is the effort (moghaashaa, moghakarmaaNo - 9:12).
