Thanks for the reminder - " ...the numbering of the verses may not be the same in

all the printed versions of gIta. "

 

The post was a personal reflection of the verses and is NOT intended as a

teaching. From the postings in the group I feel the members are well acquainted

with the already available teachings of the great Masters like Shree Shankara

and others. Hence I do not wish to duplicate. What is essential and call of the

day is to understand how the said 'knowledge' reflect in a person. For detailed

academic and intellectual learning I fully agree with your suggestion of

following a 'sAmpradAya' without which true learning may be difficult.

" ....Moreover, while learning gIta & its purports in a sAmpradAyik way, nobody

learns it by chapter/verse Nos. :-)) Hope you would oblige the request. "
