Dear Richard,

Thanks for these pictures and information. The gratitude these people

in India express for the things many take for granted is heart warming.

Dear Soul,

Yes, I find this to be so. There seems to be a much deeper feeling

that all things are but 'gifts from God.' And this seems to permeate

the Indian culture.

India is changing though, moving from the villages into the cities.

One wonders what this will being to such deep spiritual ideas. One

wonders what will remain of this ancient culture?

Om Arunachala,

Richard

i suppose the rishis are still around as the ocean surrounds the inflowing rivers.

the mighty amazon might make the ocean lose its salt for a good 300kms into the ocean, but the depths are untouched.

our worrying about the threat to the true protector, sanathana dharma, is like worrying if the amazon could screw up the ocean..

just my knee-jerk perspective

cheers
