I took the liberty to edit it a bit to make it more accessible.

I welcome any comments and poems and essays on Mumbai. These may be

Dear Friends:

I have received so many e-mails

on the Nair-ji’s poem from both our Indian and Non-Indian friends. Rarely

does a posting evoke so much positive and overwhelming response.

Nair-ji, your poem is a massive

hit because it came from the Heart. Many people are finding comfort in

it.

This afternoon, I will be

meeting a number of Indian students at my University to discuss what happened

in Mumbai. I may read or ask someone to read Nair-ji’s poem. It is not

easy to read such a poem in public without the emotions getting the better of

us. We will see. Tonight and tomorrow, I will collect my thoughts and write

something on this topic.

Namaste and Love to all

Hi Harsha. It's a complex issue that requires some digging.

I thought I'd offer some views that may shed some light into the

problem here.
