Guest guest
Namaste and welcome to this list, dear Susan: I know I am several messages behind now, but...you wrote earlier in this thread... ============================== I am reading a lot about this lately, and some of you (I read some of your articles Sadananda) are incredibly articulate and lucid, and what you are saying is resonating with me. At the same time, my brain is just about frying with all the words, even though I love to read about it. ============================== I have been here for about six years now and I sometimes marvel at all of the " words " I now know compared to when I first arrived here, the proverbial blank slate. I do not always know what they mean, though! As to the words and your fried brain, just try to relax and let them come your way as many times as needed until you recognize the word itself, and then you can also move forward to connect it with some meaning. Since you love to read about it and it resonates with you, then He has called you to Him in this way. You have landed in a sangha, a cyber Shankaracharya mutt or math, (a temple of worship and learning) with numerous scholars/bhaktas in so many areas, bringing their collective knowledge to the same mutual goal of understanding by way of jnana, or Knowledge. While we have no physical Swamiji in residence, know that He is in residence here. You will often recognize Him in words which will strike to your very soul and know that they were meant for you. They may have been meant for others as well, but you will know when you are on His list that day:-) I know this may sound strange coming from me, being that I am a kind of outwardly noisy little jiva :-), but I would like to tell you something. There is always Silence in Surrender...and it is there where you will find the Eternal Teacher...the satguru...the One. He has been there all this time guiding you, and every moment you have known has been exactly the way He wanted it to be. And that includes all of those with whom you have come in contact in your search. It has all led you here. Jai Shri Krishna!!! Hari OM and away I go, Joyce
Guest guest
Thanks Joyce, I do feel guided here somehow,in fact these teachings seem to be an answer to a prayer.
