Guest guest
Dandavat pranams to all !!! Some weeks ago Shri Sadanandaji posted a short story called "Greatest Miracle in the World... advaitin/message/43263 In it, he told of his wife losing and then finding a ring and their disagreement over whether his wife's Goddess assisted in the final finding of the ring in a place where his wife had already looked prior to her prayer. He then went on to explore the rationalist approach to explanations for and belief in Ishvara, and concluded by saying... "The miracle is not in the ring lost or the ring found-but how the human mind thinks because of that very presence. That seems to be the greatest of all miracles." I submit that the human mind thinks only because of that Presence. And the miracle is indeed everywhere, in every breath we take and every breath we exhale, in the gifts which come our way when we are not even looking for them or asking for them, and in the very Presence which manifests as Ishvara, an explanation for which is not needed when one accepts the mystery of the One without a second. He also mentioned at the beginning of his post, the need for some to have proof of the pudding...here, the proof is in the penny!!! Mine is a short lighthearted story about finding something which had not been there before and suddenly appeared... find-a-penny-by-joyce-sweinberg In His Service, Radhe Hari OM!
