'you' are not your brain - grate discovery - Is it not what panchakosha vilakshana in Tai. Up. involves - The above statement is still at gross mater level. Is mind matter or not is still being debated in both philosophy and psychology. It is going to be a long way to recognize that one cannot objectify 'consciousness' since in the very objectification one makes it unconscious, since it is not an object for analysis. We have the same problem - we try to conceptualize it. Vedas try to get around the problem by adhyaaropa apavaada. Hence they form pramaaNa to know what consciousness is. Hari Om!
