Guest guest
Namaste Sada-ji, You neglected to suggest how Evolution would be built into that Vedic schema. Perhaps you don’t accept it in the form that scientists propose. Your view of psychology is also idiosyncratic. I suppose your postings are road tests for your camp lectures so you probably welcome close scrutiny that might cause you to make minute adjustments. At your service, Best Wishes, Michael. Guest guest
Michael - PraNAms  It looks like you found my secret. I have no problem in Darwin’s evolution theory - that is anatomical evolution of BMI - But jiiva's evolution follows his karma. His evolutionary ladder is from tamasic to rajasic to saatvic - as Krishna discusses in Gita Ch. 14. In taking birth, Jiiva takes up the suitable anatomy conducive to exhaust his vaasanaas. There are also samaShTi vaasanaas that also play a role in his birth - in terms of the vaasanaas of his parents/ siblings/uncles and even the advaitin list members, including moderators! All the vaasanaas determine the environment he is going to face. Hence jiiva can go up in the Darwin's evolutionary ladder or go down if that is required for his evolution. But upward evolution is guarenteed in some cases! But as Krishna said - once you have become a member of this advaitin list (not necessarily in that language), if you do not realize in this life, you will be born in a conducive environment for a rapid evolution - but of course such a birth is very rare indeed. Of billions of people only 2000 (not sure what is the latest member list) - a very very small percentage are entitled for that birth - provided of course they do not realize in this life. Hari Om!
