Guest guest
My friend - any experience is temporal - you say you experienced kundalini awakening. you are experiencer and kundalini awakeing that you experiened is an object of your experience. Shift from the experienced to the experiener since any thing that is experiened is an inert only. You are the one who has now awakened kundalini. Now dhyaanam is required to shift your attention from awakened kudalini to the one awaker - assuming the word is valid. That is the aatma vichaara that is required. Hari Om! Guest guest
Yes! This was and is the present Sadhana, the awaker! Any comments in regards to the awakening without any specific practice towards this? Or that it is atma-vichara that lead to this awakening? advaitin , kuntimaddi sadananda <kuntimaddisada wrote: > > > My friend - any experience is temporal - you say you experienced kundalini awakening. you are experiencer and kundalini awakeing that you experiened is an object of your experience. If there is any further path, Krishna himself would have given out without going through 700 plus sloks in Gita. Hari Om! Sada

Namaste, Kundalini is the universal mind it is everywhere and everything. There is nothing to awaken as it is awake. What is happening is depending on the amount of cleansing required ones sheaths or kosas react differently or seem to. In other words the cleansing prana-sakti is actually what people call Kundalini. As Sarada Devi said K will rise imperceptibly even japa will do it... So if one is having violent and extreme experiences in K then it just the cleansing prana-sakti... It is like cleaning the floor some are dirtier than others and need more work.............Tony.

Every enquirer may not go through such extraordinary experiences but it is my belief that deep transformation entails some awakening of shakti whose purpose is to purge the vasanas embedded in the body-mind complex. J. Krishnamurti called it a mutation in the brain cells. Also look into the biography of Ganapati Muni. There is a biography of his written in Telugu titled Nayana. Probably it is translated into English and available on the net. Although Nayana was a close disciple of Ramana he was not able to do self-enquiry as prescribed by Bhagawan. He was deeply into mantra yoga and had powerful kundalini experiences. He suffred a great deal in his final stages of life. Nisargadatta Maharaj mentioned that in some, kundalini may arise in his method of enquiry which is similar to Ramana's. Many authors translated Maharaj's talks but I found this only in one place in a translation by Jean Dunn. Kundalini can be a dangerous force to reckon with. Even the great Ramana could not (or did not) help alleviate Nayana's suffering caused by this extraordinary energy. All this has nothing to with armchair-vedanta which is very safe. Once a close disciple asked Bhagawan why his body was shaking although he was young at that time. Bhagawan said containing that energy is like tying down an elephant in a hut.
