Guest guest
Dear Shri Richard-ji, Thanks a lot for calling attention to this short but profound piece of writing by Shri Nome. Shri Nome's treatment of the subject is very enlightening. I have a doubt, however. Traditional masters call upon us to acquire chitta shuddhi through sAdhanA sampatti because only in a mind that is clean can self-knowledge dawn. Here, sAdhanA sampatti is a sort of pre-requisite. Can it be the other way round, i.e. can continued reflection and meditation on the lines suggested by Nome result in spontaneous chittashuddhi and self-realization? I believe a discussion on this would be interesting. Besides, has Shri Nome defined self-realization is more details elsewhere? If yes, can you kindly provide the links? Best regards.
