Guest guest
Namaste, Bhagavan says in Geeta that anger is rooted in desire. Perhaps, expectation is another form of desire. Pujya Swami Dayanandaji recommends that - one should objectively accept people, situations and circumstances - one should act in the situation rather than react to the situation Swamiji also says that when we rub against prakriti, in the process we get rubbed. (much like rubbing your back against a tree trunk) But isn't anger also prakritic ? Anger also has to happen by the same logic. Can anger be suppressed or controlled ? The ego will find reasons to justify itself but are'nt there some basic tenets of behavior and speech. Can a person keep his/her cool on seeing rash behavior/speech or accusations. Kindly share your thoughts. regards, Shailendra
Guest guest
PraNAms Sometime last year or so, after the talk on anger by swami Paramarthanandaji, I wrote an article based on his presentation. It is in the Karma yoga series stored in the archives, if I remember. If you cannot find it I will send it to you. Hari Om! Guest guest
bahtnagar ji : everything,ie all gamut of emotions comes under the purview of bhagavan only.we are bits and pieces of swamayam bhagavan swaroopam, having written that,in order to have a semblance of peace we go about judging things and people.and as humans,to err is human. suresh. advaitin , " bhatnagar_shailendra " <bhatnagar_shailendra wrote: > > Namaste, > Bhagavan says in Geeta that anger is rooted in desire.
