Guest guest
Dear Shriram Ji, I think, as the common usage goes, God and god are treated as two different terms. While God implies the One & Only One Paramatma, gods meaning devatas can be many. Parmatma or Brahman is only one, but Hindu tradition visualises 3.3 million of devatas. However, the pure consciousness (chetan tattva) that permeates or pervades these millions of gods, or said more properly, the true self of all of these devatas, or for that matter anything & everything, is the God who is advaita (non-dual). This is the underlying premise of Upanishadic thoughts. I don't see any confusion in this - of course, i'm not talking of any semantic discussion, terms used may vary , but this is in my view the soul of advaitism.
