Guest guest
I was initiated 15 years ago by a Ramakrishna guru. I have read so much which comes from the Ramakrishna order. I cannot understand advaita as is presented here. Is it far above by understanding? Do I need a personal teacher?
Guest guest
Dear Friend: There are many members here who write regularly on Advaita-Vedanta. The following article by Sastri-ji gives a nice summary of Advaita-Vedanta. introduction-to-advaita-vedanta-by-sri-sn-sastri By the way, I read the Gospel of Ramakrishna when I was very young and it really made an impression. Swami Vivekananda has written a lot about yoga and Vedanta as well. Guest guest
Blesed self - PraNams There are series introduction to vedanta in Dennis Waite web site www.adviata.org.uk where you may find subject introduced to a beginner that may help. A teacher is helpful to explain the concepts taking into consideration your back ground - this is true for any subject and more so for adviata vedanta. Hari Om!
