Guest guest
The first section of Shri Sadananda's Critical analysis of vedAnta paribhAshA edited by myself completed last week at advaita.org.uk with Part 53. I have now started a second section (Other pramANa-s), beginning the discussion on the means of knowledge (pramANa-s) other than Perception. The first of these is the Introduction - http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/knowledge2/intro.htm. There are also two new essays: Empirical Experience and j~nAna by Shri Peter http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/teachers/experience_peter.htm; and an anonymous essay submitted by Shri Subbu-ji, originally an MS Powerpoint presentation, now converted into a PDF file, on The Difference between a Guru and a Teacher - http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/teachers/guru_teacher.pdf. My humble praNAms to the author and the editor. The readers can also have a look at the following link and scroll down to see the various lectures in this series. http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/knowledge/intro1.htm Dennis-ji: Also, there was a brief-review of nyAya by Sada-ji, which I was looking for, and was unable to find. Could you please let me know the link of it? Or, was it on Sastri-ji's website? Readers could also have a look at Shri Sastri-ji's summary of Perception, Inference and Shabda at the following links: http://geocities.com/snsastri/vedantaparibhasha1.html http://geocities.com/snsastri/vedantaparibhasha2.html http://geocities.com/snsastri/shabdapramana.htm My praNAms to all the Advaita masters. praNAms Ramakrishna
Guest guest
Dear Ramakrishna-ji, I don't think have any specific essay on this topic, although a number in the Knowledge series refer to it, as well as some material by Sastri-ji. If you search for this in the Picosearch box on the Home page of the site (www.advaita.org.uk), there are 35 references. If what you saw was posted to the group, you can of course search there.
