Guest guest
Namasthe, Going a little off track with apologies. I remember reading late Dr.S Radhakrishnan appreciating the 'chaturvarnyam' as the most efficient way (discovered in Bharat) to sustain, maintain and improve the skill sets of human activities. It took sometime to really understand the point. As science today speaks of genes carrying itself through generations a 'brahmin's' son is expected to perform a brahmin's activity better than a 'kshatriya' . Now the question is what if he doesn't? Even to this day this selection continues. Politicians' heirs are apparent, businessmen's, lawyers', CAs', Dentists', ... and we accept them all without much fuss. The point is in the second case it is a choice. I think when Bhagavan said 'I created them..' 'he' only meant that these are the broad possibilities one can aspire to and none is bigger or smaller to the other. On a daily basis every human being carry the potential and seed of all the four and sometimes due to dominanat environments the freedom to choose limits them. Presently one has to function using the skill sets of all the four one time or the other or at the same time to keep moving (ahead!) in life. A new sect 'BraKshaVaiSu' (BKVS) is the need of the day.
