Guest guest
Namaste All, The liberal arts seem more conducive to the Brahmin ideal than the technical, liberal in this sense meaning that which pertains to the free man (liber) and not the slave. Our family has mostly gone in for them and I jocosely refer to my children’s Brahminical studies as like their parents having no bearing on the practical matter of earning a living but at the same time being vital for civilisation. Taking up science and technology is no more than touching the plough not that there’s anything wrong with that. There is no good job at the end of Brahminal Studies but you can always be trained for something that will gain you a chapati. Best Wishes, Michael. ---------- Checked by AVG - www.avg.com Version: 8.5.339 / Virus Database: 270.12.90/2198 - Release 06/23/09 17:54:
