Guest guest
  Namaste, all Thank you all for your kind views on my query. I also regret for this delayed response.  IMHO, the ajnana of ajnanis is not total, as total ajnana is not a problem. With total ajnana of a snake, nobody will “see†a snake on rope. Some knowledge of snake must be there in his memory. Similarly, even ajnani is not totally ignorant or he does not have total ajnana about Self. Even ajnanis are self conscious. Inherently he has some awareness about the self more than self consciousness, that the he is poornam and therefore perfect or complete. Somehow, he has forgotten and this forgetfulness appears to be ignorance of the self, therefore, adhyasa of “atasmin tatbudhi and tasmin atatbudhiâ€. With total ajnana no adhyasa is possible. Total ajnana or total jnana does not create any problem I think it is this partial knowledge that he is poornam itself, impels one to offend when he is ignored, just like one wants to get rid of unhappiness or one offends when he is unhappy, just because one has inherent knowledge that self is poornam.  At the same time because of adhyasa only, he appears to acknowledge the appearance of the “other†to ignore him. As for a janani, compared to this, since he does not recognize the “other† as real, he ignores the ignoring by the unreal or Mithya “otherâ€. A King does not like to be ignored, as he knows he is a king. Same way even ajnani have some inherent knowledge that he is poornam or complete, though not sure this poornatwa refers to his bmi or self. I do not know whether it is even two paise worth, but I most humbly reqeuest the learned members to correct my understanding. Hari Om  R. S. Mani Looking for local information?
