" Krishnacharitam kalikalmashaghnam " -- the story of Lord Krishna destroys the

impurities of the kali age. An inquiry concerning the story of Lord Vasudeva

indeed purifies all the three persons viz., the reciter, the interlocator and

the audience.

 

The birthday of Lord Krishna - the Krishnastami is a special occasion for

Hindus and spiritual aspirants all over the world, who consider Him their

leader,hero,protector,philosopher, teacher and friend all rolled into one.

Krishna took birth at the midnight on the Ashtami or the 8th day of

krishnapaksha in the month of Sravana that falls on 13/14 of this August month.
