Guest guest
Namasthe pranaams to all I was keen to Clarify my doubts regarding two messages, But I seem to have lost the location. The first one is to do with the purpose of using two words for Fire, one of them being Agni and why this Word is used in certain contexts. I dont have any Reference, but a Ganapadigal ( scholar in vedic rituals) in response to my question , replied " AGNI is Deaf, and this forms the basis for chanting aloud so that AGNI could hear our prayers. My question was " why do we Chant loud when it comes to offering sacrifices to Agni and offer the Aahudi " AGNYAYEEE Idhanna Mamaa " is AgNi short of hearing or Deaf? IS there any Vedic source to confirm this ? Another Demi god who is " Short of hearing/deaf " is " chandigeswarar " . usually residing in the Circumference of a Shiva temple and we need to " click our fingers " and make a noise, announcing our arrival. " Assuming that I Take those words, GOD can Hear with his EYES " in a Literal sense, Then For God to be deaf , means He is also Blind. --\ ---------------- another message, some one said " a Deaf person can recognise The Sound, when he sees a Drummer, beating,, his sticks " . if some one is Born deaf, then there is no way He can have any concept of Sound at all. What he interprets from the Drummer is only a Visual signal ,which he translates into a Meaning without the Intermediate conversion of Sound signals. The Four parts of Speech, Para, Pasyanthi vac etc, apply to Hearing, and there exists four corresponding Physical areas in the brain, that correspond to the Four Parts of Speech. In those who are Born Blind and Born deaf, the Perception is lost and defective from the " PARA aspect in the brain. and there is no Concept of sound or Sight in such persons. Lip reading has no Purpose to those who are Born deaf. The entire structure from the Brain centre, ( auditory nuclei) , to those of the Vibrating membranes and the Fluid, is defective, His speech and language is also affected. This is similar to one who is Born Blind --- On Tue, 15/9/09, subrahmanian_v <subrahmanian_v wrote: subrahmanian_v <subrahmanian_v 05 - Re: Polar Concepts advaitin Tuesday, 15 September, 2009, 10:25 PM Waitlist reason: advaitin is not on your Guest List | Approve sender | Approve domain | Approve advaitin
Guest guest
Namasthe All I forgot to mention that " When One has to Raise the pitch of a Particular word, then the Structure of that Word is crucial. . In the case of AGNI, the second syllable being a Consonant, a hard one, serves the purpose of being heard better when the Pitch of the Note is raised. --- On Wed, 16/9/09, RK <krshna19 wrote: RK <krshna19 Re: 05 - Re: Polar Concepts advaitin Wednesday, 16 September, 2009, 2:01 PM Namasthe pranaams to all I was keen to Clarify my doubts regarding two messages, But I seem to have lost the location.
