Dear Friends,

Namaste.

I want to know the meaning of the word: kaarya-karaNa-sanghaata

In many places I read this word, without understanding it exactly.

With regards,

Anupam.

an interactive principle. So what we bear is cause and its effect. What we

visualize is the effect of cause. As a matter of fact knowledge is three

dimensional i,e Known-knowledge-knower.Basically knowledge is divisive so there

is cause and its effect which is explained as karya karana snghata in

sanskrit.Hope you could get conveyed.

thank you

Members more learned than me would correct me, but I have read it as

what we (in advaitin-list) call as BMI. Namely: Body-Mind-Intellect

Complex, which causes the bIja for action and actually executes it.

I am sure that all vedantins know that all action is generated in

thought (antaHkaraNa), either emotional or intellectual, which itself

originates in some form of doer-ship (kartRitva-bhaava), which being

caused by avidya, is the cause for all saMsaara. Hence, a specific

term for the above.

Namaste

Ramakrishna

Dear Sri Anupam Srivatsav,

The word " kArya-karaNa saMGAta " means the psychosomatic apparatus i.e.

body-mind unit.

The word " kAryakAranABAva' means cause-effect or causality.

With warm and respectful regards,

Dear members,

The word " kAryakAranABAva " should read as " kAryakAraNaBAva " . The error is

regretted.

With respectful regards,
