There is a superb commentary for the Shiva AshtOthra ShatanAma by one Swami Svayam Prakasha Giri. It is published in Hindi by Sri Dakshina Murthy Math, Varanasi.

He has adopted both Sri Nila Kanta Dikshitar's Sanskrit Commentary on the above + Bhaskara Raya's Padya Commentary. Plus he has added his own. Each nama has about atleast a page and it is like an encyclopedia being read. Very useful - sourced both from Agama and Vedanta besides puranas and veda with Vykarana etc. Thanks & Regards,Venkat.Sadgurubhyo Namah.--- On Tue, 3/11/09, sunderh <sunderh wrote:
