Ishvara Dancer/Dance and Spider/Web

Namaste Respected Members,

 

My teacher has used both the dancer/dance and spider/web

metaphor to illustrate that Ishvara is both the 'material

and efficient' cause of the jagat.

 

Does any member know of a specific place in any text where

either or both of these analogies are used in this way,

particularly the dancer/dance illustration

Spider-web metaphor occurs in:

 

Brihadarnayaka upan. 2:1:20

 

Mundaka " 1:1:7

 

Maitri " 6:22

 

Shvetashvatara " 6:10
