Strict adherence to the principles of righteous conduct enjoined by Vedas and

advaitic philosophy is the prime duty of every individual. The Ramayana teaches

us the essential principles of the Vedas. The Parama-purusha spoken of in the

Vedas is perfect and full embodiment of Dharma, and is Rama of the Ramayana.

Ramayanam pervades our cultural life, every character has been presented to the

reader in such a way that he or she can mold his or her future in a proper

manner. The lessons learn t from them are applicable to all times and to all

conditions of life. God himself assumed human form as Sri Rama, upheld the

greatness of Dharmam and showed, by example, that the path of righteousness was

not impossible to tread.

With devotion and love towards Rama, an attempt is being started to read and

listen the Sampoorna Ramayanam of all the 24,000 slokas with Telugu and English

meaning. I request you to listen the 23rd sarga of Balakandam.
