Guest guest
Radhasaptami festival greetings to our advaitin group. This day is celebrated as Visva Suryanamaskara Day all over the world. The festival of 'Radhasaptami'falls on the seventh day of the Hindu calender month Magha. From this day, the days become warmer and bring relief and cheer to life after the bitter winter season. A special bath is taken with seven jilledu leaves and the mantra ' Sapta sapta mahasapta sapta dweepaa vasundhara/Saptarka parnamadaya saptameyam snanamacharet.' Namaskaara priyah suryaha - The Sun God blesses us just with our namaskaaram or salutations. Let us pray the Surybhagavan with a salutation.Let us pray for health, wealth, happiness, success and excellence in life and after. We all chant or listen to Suryastottarasatanama stotram, sri suryamandalastotram,Aadityahrudayam and Bhaskaraastakam for peace and bliss. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=goli

I have heard people making fun of God on statements like this... they used to say Surya is Namaskaara priyaha - i.e. Namaskaarasya Priyaha Namaskaara priayaha. (Tatpurusha Shashti). Here above, He is - NamaskAArena Priyaha. But is it grammatically correct to split NamakAarapriayaha into NamaskArena Priyaha ?! Your Mail works best with the New Optimized IE8. Get it NOW!.
