Guest guest
Sri Vikruti Ugaadi Subhakankshalu to advaitin group. Chaitra shukla Pratipada - Deity Brahma created the Universe on this day, that marked the beginning of Satyayuga; hence, the commencement of the New year on this day. On this day, Sri Rama killed Vali. This day also commemorates the commencement of the 'Shalivahana shak; for, on this day King Shalivahana vanqished his enemies. Ugaadi festival - festivals have a great place and role in our Indian culture. Telugus all over the world celebrate this festival with religious fervor , gaiety and merriment. Common good, common happiness, community living, sharing the pleasantries are the vibrating factors in celebrating these festivals. All in all, Ugaadi taps into our common humanity and communal solidarity. Brand new cloths, a visit to the temple, savouring the Ugaadi pachchadi, reading and listening of Panchanga - Panchangasravanam Vedic calender are the most important rituals of Ugaadi. The study and daily use of Vedic Calender - the Panchangam helps the conscientious individual to understand and monitor the prevailing forces of each day. With this knowledge, he or she is able to flow with the river of life, " creatively alive and in tune with the universe. " Once again, with Ugaadi greetings, I request you to listen to Panchangasravanam in Telugu and English.
