Namaste, Sadgurus don't need to speak and discourse to teach...

I go on about about neo-advaitins and their teaching of 'lazy person's'

enlightenment and no sadhana or practise...Whether it is the Sadhana of Vedanta

or the Eight Fold Path of Buddha it is all necessary..In fact until these

MCDonald;s instant gratification, franchised advaita, appeared on the

scene...there would never have been a distraction...For now we have 'so many

teaching so little to so many'..

My point with the non mukta teachers is that they are verbal non dualists or

vndists..they have no Saktipat or Diksha, they only talk and regurgitate. True

Sadgurus and Muktas do not need to come down to the level of speech to entertain

people...That is one way to find the needles in the haystack...So this sorts out

the real teachers the Muktas from all the neo advaitins and vndists..you can do

it for yourself...Tony.

The Vndists and neo advaitins are just a step on the way and are interested in

themselves mostly...so it is fine to listen but not at the expense of true

teachings which exist......

1...Visitor: Is the relationship between the Guru and the disciple similar to

telepathy?

Â

Maharaj: Yes, telepathy can function if the receptivity is good. Some have a

buffalo like skull; no amount of thrashing affects that dull animal.

Â

V: Would Maharaj speak about the Guru and disciple relationship?

Â

M: The Guru links the relationship of the disciple with Self-knowledge and the

disciple nourishes it. The Guru links you to Self-knowledge, that is you Guru,

nourish it. The knowledge ‘you are’ is the Guru, once linked don’t disturb

the relationship by identifying with the body. Once a woman is married to a man,

it’s done, each must behave accordingly. Once linked with the Guru, you must

not identify, with the body. The knowledge ‘you are’, be there with full

devotion, the knowledge ‘I am’ is not the body.

Jai Guru Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

I am Unborn (41)

2....Says Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi: " Yes, sit down. " The sadhu sat, and all

eagerly looked at Sri Bhagavan; Sri Bhagavan looked at them. Sri Bhagavan sat in

his usual pose, no, poise. No words, no movement, and all was stillness! He sat

still, and all sat still, waiting. The clock went on striking, nine, ten,

eleven, twelve, one, two and three. Sri Bhagavan sat and they sat. Stillness,

calmness, motionless-not conscious of the body, of space or time. Thus eight

hours passed in Peace, in Silence, in Being, as It is. Thus was the Divine

Reality taught through the speech of Silence by Bhagavan Sri

Ramana-Dakshinamurthy.

guru is the inner awakening which removes all traces of non presence. it has to be triggered from within for which the teachings of the external guru can only be of aid for bringing some awareness. here your own experience of removing the non presence of guru by destroying your psuedo self is required. once you stick on to the teachings it only builds into conceptual knowledge with the external guru becoming a cult figure.
