Namaste,

This falls into different categories.

1. First of all there are those that like the teachings and seems to

suit the western instant gratification syndrome. You don't have to

do anything, just read his books, preach a little about love and

say 'Who am I?'. Misunderstanding and practical hypocrisy seem to

come to some of them.

Others make a Godform out of him and worship an advaitin,?????????

but also without a lot of committment to any great Sadhana.

2. Then there are those that apply the Hindu Dharma and all its

precepts and concepts, including Ahimsa, vegetarianism etc etc. They

are essentially a Hindu Sect and that's alright for those who are

Bhaktas.

3. Lastly there are those that have gone through the stages and

arrived at True Self Enquiry. And realise that 'Who am I' requires a

whole lot of sadhana and practice to get the mental maturity, and

purification to fully understand it. It is not instant

gratification, pollyanna, emotionalism but a complex system of

Sadhana.

So there are many stages on the path and many in following the

teaching of Ramana. As Maharaj said only one man in Mumbai can even

understand non dualism

intellectually................ONS..Saktidas/Tony.
