If Jesus meant a theory of ADWAITA philosophy with all his gospels and parables, does this mean that none of his disciples and followers were not able to understand this during all these 2000 years? AND IF THIS IS A FACT, IT IS IN DIRECT CONTRADICTORY TO WHAT JESUS'S FATHER (GOD - YEHOWAH) DECLARED IN TEN COMMANDMENTS THAT " I DO NOT WANT YOU TO PRAY TO ANY OTHER GOD, FOR I AM A JEALOUS GOD " . > > AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, IF JESUS ADVOCATED ADWAITA PHILOSOPHY WHICH IS IN HARMONY WITH THE HUMAN CIVILISATIONS OLDEST PHILOSOPHY THAT IS SANATANA DHARMA, THEN THERE IS NO NEED FOR A SEPARATE RELIGION CALLED CHRISTIANITY OR VICE VERSA HINDUISM, AND THERE IS NO NEED FOR HINDUS TO CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY, BECAUSE BASICALLY BOTH OF THEIR PHILOSOPHY IS THE SAME. THEN, WHY DONT YOU GENUINELY TRY TO MAKE VARIOUS CHRISTIAN CLERGIES OF DIFFERENT SECTS UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS TRUTH AND ASK THEM TO ALLOW THE WORLD TO " LIVE AND LET LIVE IN PEACE " POLICY WITHOUT THE DUBIOUS CONVERSION ACTIVITIES THAT THEY ARE ENGAGED IN? Your observation about yourself that you are not a NORMAL CHRISTIAN, means that either you are still seeking the ULTIMATE TRUTH, or by trying to state your understandings trying to relate both Sanatana Dharma and Bible to each other (this effort itself is due to your deep impressions/indoctrination about Christian Philosophy, which you do not want to discard totally even > though you are not able to agree to it TOTALLY), you stopped your further spiritual journey. I would request you to please do not stop your spiritual journey, because at the end, when you become enlightened which is bound to happen in due course, you would be a source of distribution of real knowledge and wisdom to others. Please do not let your prejudices and biais interfere with that serene journey. > I am reproducing separately an article on AHIMSA (NON-VIOLENCE) and also the portion of another article on THE FIVE SHEATHS OF OUR GROSS AND SUBTLE BODIES from the Tantra shastras, as you have mentioned both these points in your earlier mails. > With regards and prayers, > I Menon Namaste Menon, Jesus never founded any religion, he came out of the Essenes who were an Eastern Type sect anyway. Christianity arose later as you also point out. Jesus wouldn't be able to identify with today's Christianity. As you know Constantine took the whole thing off the rails. The Gnostcs or Jnanis did preserve some of the real teachings like GThomas. However most of them were persecuted as heretics, as you no doubt are aware. There were some 'Christians' in India in the early days but they were wiped out by the Portuguese. They taught more in the Gnostic line it seems. So although I can identify with Jesus I cannot identify with modern Christianity at all. Jesus never intended to found another religion at all. He was a Sage..........ONS..Tony. He was a Sage....A Sage has no religion at all, He is everything. Christians also misunderstand the idea of Jesus taking on the 'Sins of the World'. In Hinduism this would be understood as a Yogi and Jesus was a Yogi taking on the karma of others.. Jesus taught at three levels..1. I am the messenger of God. 2. I am the Son of God. and 3. I and My Father are One..When he talked of 'Way to Father through Me, I am the way and light etc, he was talking as the Sakti or Son. For the way to Brahman is through the Sakti is it not that we are truly only the Sakti or part thereof...Speaking dualitically that is....ONS..Tony.
