While the ferocity of herds might maim and even kill a few, patriotism can use the most advanced methods and venoms of war to righteously invade, slaughter and plunder even the most impoverished nations patriotism can find. If there was a doer, or if death was nothing more than an Awakening, then one might want to worry about such herd instincts.
