Guest guest
Stories to reprogram the mind away from dualities. thoughtology/ Most minds work on the dualistic –operating-systems that society, our family, our religions and education gives us. To change the way the mind reacts to dualities we have to unformat it, reprogram it, so that it does not keep reacting to dualities. Perhaps the best way to do this is from stories that can make us laugh at their dualities. These stories develop as forgetfulnesses create dualities. If not for the forgetfulness there are no dualities. To the high priests of his day Buddha must have been the devil himself. To the Rabbis of his day Jesus must have been the devil himself. History/we forget. If we don’t forget then saints have to be sinners, and gods have to be their devils – there are no dualities. Once we realize that dualities come from some sort of forgetfulness/secrets they become absurd. These stories should reveal that dualities function on limitless levels and to fathomless depths. To the impartial observer each level is just as absurd and funny as any other. The more levels the more absurd/funny these stories get. It does not take a genius to realize this. As adults we might have a hard time reprogramming our minds away from their dualisms but to young kids it should be about as easy as ABC. Learn how these stories are written, and then start writing – and the mind will have to follow as it laughs at all the absurd/funny levels and depths dualities work to keep life a JOY, entertaining. Only when the mind is free from its imaginary dualities can life become a dream that is simply this Joy of entertainment that the Hindus of old woke up to and called maya.
