Guest guest
Namaste,All, " When the Self is known, duality is no longer seen. " GP. Subject/Object knowledge cannot remain an instant after the cessation of duality. For to suppose that it could would entail a new suppression of duality and so lead to infinite regress, which could mean that duality could never cease. Hence it stands proved that the cessation of the three states of waking, dreaming, and dreamless sleep, that are superimposed on the Self and are the source of all 'evil', occurs simultaneously with the authoritive cognition which negates them...AJ Alston on Sankara. Love is an energy of the Sakti and therefore is associated with duality. It may be an interim step on the path to Nirguna, but it also never happened.........ONS..Tony. --- End forwarded message ---

Gaudapada Karika 1:18.............ONS..Tony. Namaste All, I posted this at some other sites and the reaction in the main, if at all was negative. Even on so called non dual sites, the reaction was negative or derisive. I found it quite interesting, and it makes one understand more what Nisargadatta said when he said, 'only one man/person in Bombay/Mumbai can understand non-duality even intellectually'. In other words only 60,000 people on the entire planet can grasp it intellectually never mind realise it....ONS..Tony. --- End forwarded message ---
