Namaste,Michelle et al, The one thing that I have found out about people who purport to teach, is that most don't know. I don't think many enlightened people write books etc. Going within is the answer, not with sub gurus. If one has mental problems or needs therapy then professionals are the answer in the short term. Many make a living or money supposedly teaching, this isn't necessary there are enough books out there to read. In the end result one has to surrender and go within. And avoid the plethora of charlatans that think they have a duty to explain the words of the masters when the words stand by themselves. As Ramana says humans are just monkeys with better equipment and weapons to fight and argue with. We are all essentially 'karmic robots' with a mind that can make a judgement about an action but cannot change the action. We can change our attitude about an action but have no free will to effect the outcome. That is why go within to find the real 'I' which in itself is also an illusion, ultimately. There is no time so there is no freewill, however it seems that there are levels of mind to draw on that are above time and can effect the attitude. Nobody can really help you, it is better to read Ramana or Maharaj or Atmananda or someone and then do your own meditation.......ONS..Tony.
