A handful of humans on the planet right now have probably achieved

Moksha. A somewhat lesser amount of animals will have done the same.

Once you take away the advantage of human brain hardware, which is

mostly unused, we have only an IQ difference of 10-20 points.

An animal achieves Moksha through self sacrifice and pure Bhakti. A

great discriminatory brain is not necessary....99% of humans are

actully human animals aspiring to be humans, but have karmic baggage

PS. Bhakti is really to create Ekagratha or one pointedness, and a

great discriminatory mind isn't necessary. There are many tribals

and uneducated people who no doubt attain Moksha, which is a

subjective process anyway. The whole process is to become the

great 'I' which at the same time realises Nir guna, which prior to

that may not have been understood or even desired as such. Lakshmi

the cow, channeled all her mind, the thorn, into pure love of

Ramana, so focussed she became the 'Great Love Energy-I'. One must

remind oneself that 'God' doesn't have a

I don't think we have to take into account the possibility of sages

disguised as animals re Lakshmi. An animal is just as able to attain

Moksha as a human being if it is through love or bhakti. After all

we are animals ourselves. Ramana isn't the only Sage to say that

animals can achieve Moksha. Even people on the astral can achieve

moksha the same way, through love and becoming love, and they don't

have the hardware of a human brain either.

Let us remember that ultimately 'God' doesn't have a mind, but yet

an animal is still God, and we cannot make value judgements on who

is more god and less god.........There is only one soul in the
