The physical convinces the lower self that a cure has taken place by the ritual etc. When Jesus spoke of my body and blood, He actually was speaking literally as the Christ/Sakti/Siva or whatever name one uses. He was actually saying 'all is one', this bread is me, this wine is me. This was probably an Essenic Grace. The Hindus to this day use a Grace before meals that says; the food is God, the process of eating is God, I am God, the process of digestion is God, everything is God...From the Bhagavad Gita....ONS..Tony.
