I have two copies of the yogasutras, and I doubt very much that they were completely written by just Patanjali. There are some differences in style and philosophy if I remember rightly. Yes I know of Panini but there was also a grammarian called Patanjali. Reading the sutras is ok but it still isn't thinking for oneself, just a guide on the path, perhaps even an opinion on the path. It is really a scientific thesis on yoga, but it is not purporting the same philosophy as Ramana..In the end it is just a book, as are many others, we learn but still have to go within.............ONS...Tony.
