Even today with the discovery of cities off Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, bearing out the legends. The Tamils say that there was a great land in the Indian Ocean and that the Maldives and Sri Lanka are the high ground remaining. The Ramayana and the Mahabharata are good history if you consider legends. Even Mu and Atlantis are given names in the Puranas, usually in the form of a myth. One name was similar to Asvins if I remember rightly. So when you take this into account Churchward doesn't sound that crazy after all. Take this for example, it blows the idea of a bering straits original settlement of America right out of the water. http://www.sbsun.com/news/ci_3247286 History in the past wasn't written as it is today, so cannot be judged in the same way.......................ONS..Tony. P.S. EVen in Ireland history, that is pre modern, is in legends like the firbolgs, tuatha de danaan, milesians etc. Now there's an interesting one for you danaan, followers of the Goddess Dana, then there's the Goddess Caileach who looked like Kali. And so it goes on and on.
