I CANNOT COMPLY WITH, AND I HOPE YOU STILL LIKE ME.......I DO USE MY

OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I FEEL, IN FACT, IT IS IMPORTANT AS PEOPLE

CANNOT ALWAYS RELATE TO WHAT HAPPENED THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO WHEN

SACRED VEDA SCRIPTURES OR BIBLE WERE WRITTEN. NOT ONLY THAT, WE YOGIS,

INSTRUMENTS, AVATARS, SWAMIS, MINISTERS ETC. ARE THELIVING EMBODIMENT

OF GOD. GOD DWELLS IN US AND SPEAKS THROUGH US. WHY DO WE HAVE TO STOP

SCRIPTURE? IT CONTINUES EVOLVING IN US, BEING BUILT AGAIN AND AGAIN,

BEING RETOLD, REEXAMINED, SEEN AGAIN IN NEW LIGHT, ETC.

CAN YOU BE YOU I BE ME? CAN YOU BE THE GREAT SCHOLAR WHO USES ONLY

SCRIPTURE, AND MYSELF BE JUST THE WAY I AM, AND STILL LOVE ONE

INTERNET I JOINED 700 GROUPS AND I POST ON ALL OF THEM EVERY 2 WEEKS

OR SO. NO, I AM NOT WAITING. THERE ARE SOULS TO BE SAVED AND I MUST

FIND THEM! PEOPLE NEED TO BE FOUND, THEY ARE LOST, AND CANNOT FIND

THEIR WAY TO THE GURU. THE GURU MUST GO TO THEM!

OUR PHILOSOPHIES MAY DIFFER BUT I THINK OUR HEARTS ARE EQUALLY ONE

WITH GOD!

YOU ARE CORRECT. YOUR TIME IS LIMITED WITH WORK AND FAMILY. I WORK

FULLTIME ON THE CHURCH. I AM RETIRED, CELIBATE AND LIVE ALONE. THE

CHURCH IS EVERYTHING TO ME - FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I THANK GOD FOR THIS,

AS IT IS A RARE PRIVILEDGE. YOU ARE QUITE YOUNG (38) AND YOU HAVE TO

HINDU-STYLE NONDUALISM REPRESENTED THERE. YES, I HAVE ONE MAN, BUT IT

IS MOVING SLOWLY AND LIKE I SAID, THE LADIES ARE NOT RESPONDING TO

HIM. (ALTHOUGH THE MEN LIKE HIM A LOT, AS HE IS A SORT OF MACHO MAN)

YOU ARE ALSO RIGHT ABOUT THE FIRES. HOW MUCH WORK IT TAKES TO LEAD

SOULS INTO ACTIVITY! YOU UNDERSTAND I HAVE GONE THROUGH 10,000 GROUPS

TO JOIN 700. I SEE THE LETHARGY ON THE GROUPS! I SEE THE PASSIVENESS,

THE SLOTH. SOME OF THE GROUPS THAT CATER TO THE FLESH SEEM ACTIVE, BUT

IT IS LOW MINDED. SOME OF THE INTELLECTUAL ONES ARE ACTIVE, BUT ALL

THEY SPEAK OF ARE SECULAR BOOKS AND THERE ISN'T MUCH LOVE THERE. VERY

FEW GROUPS ARE CLOSE TO GOD, FILLED WITH FIRE. THAT IS THE HARDEST

PART TO ACQUIRE.

I BELIEVE I WILL TRY ANOTHER TACTIC. I WILL CREATE AN ,

'NONDUALIST HINDU EXPERT NEEDED.' AND I WILL POST IT ON ALL THE

ADVAITA GROUPS. I BELONG TO ABOUT 20. PERHAPS SOMEONE WILL RESPOND?

 

MEANWHILE I AM SO BUSY INTERPRETING DREAMS ABOUT GOD AND ANSWERING

QUESTIONS ON THE OTHER GROUPS I HAVE THAT I SCARCELY HAVE TIME TO FIND

NONDUALISTIC MATERIAL. I WILL TRUST IN OUR BELOVED AND POWERFUL

INFINITE GOD, WHO BRINGS US ALL THAT WE NEED!

ONE MORE QUESTION. ARE YOU NOT THE LIVING EMBODIMENT OF THE VEDAS?

DOES GOD NOT LIVE IN YOU? DO YOU NOT CONTINUE THE VEDAS IN YOUR BODY,

SOUL, SPIRIT, LIFE, SPEECH AND WRITINGS? THAN WHY CAN'T YOU USE

MATERIAL FROM YOUR OWN LIFE TO ILLUMINATE THE SCRIPTURES?

Dear Rasa Yogi,

 

First of all, many thanks for the special invitation

to join the spiritual group `Tasting Sugar'. I would

otherwise not have any reason for not signing up

except for the most honest reason behind it, which is

constraint of time. Besides my full time employment

and family commitments, I spend good amount of time

daily on meditation and spiritual reading. This

leaves me with very little time to spend on internet.

Even if I join `Tasting sugar' I will not be able to

go through 20-25 emails when I attend to those

messages every 2 or 3 days. After going through

several messages and understanding the questions I

would be left with no time to reply all.

 

I can see that you are doing a great job of responding

to several messages everyday. Please keep up the good

job and in case you need further information on any

questions then do forward the same to me and I will

certainly respond, in couple of days, if not the same.

 

Thanks also for mentioning `your presence would build

a fire in hearts'. However, there may be no such

thing in spiritual groups. Take this

(AYSRS) for example. There are 60 plus members but

not even 6 members participate. Had my presence built

fire then at least half the group would have been

participating in discussions. Spiritual discourses and

discussions may not build any fire. Swami Vivekananda

had said, `If I can liberate one person then I am

ready to take a thousand births for that'. Similarly,

if a thousand spiritual websites or could

help even one person to advance in his/ her spiritual

journey then know that the purpose of those websites/

was served. It hardly matters as to how

many members are active or dormant in such spiritual

groups.

 

Please continue with the good work of spreading

spiritual wisdom at `Tasting sugar' and do not be

disturbed with how people take it. One of the

definitions of `Guru' is " A true Guru is one who

teaches only what's given in sacred scriptures. A

true guru will never express his/ her own opinion or

views or quote examples from his/ her personal

experiences " . May you post spiritual knowledge in

`Tasting sugar' only from the scriptures. Those who

really want to learn will accept it with reverence or

ask questions to clear their doubts. There's no room

for arguments within members. Knowledge from the

scriptures is too sacred to be argued or debated.

 

Lastly, throwing a little light over your mentioning,

`women are mad at him as he makes jokes about women,

but the men like him pretty well', I would say that

one of the reasons of such a thing happening is the

contradiction between the `motto' and `message' of the

. I believe the intention behind starting

this group (Tasting sugar) was to spread the knowledge

and immensity of the `non-dualism' concept but the

very message; `Woman thou art grace' gives the feeling

of dualism of Woman V/s Man. While this wouldn't make

any difference to highly advanced spiritual person, it

would provoke the male chauvinists to become part of

the group just to make fun of women. If this makes

sense then I am sure you know how to correct the

present situation.

 

In my next email I will write on `non-dualism' in

brief. You may forward the same to `Tasting sugar' if

you feel that could help people there to get some

clarity on the topic. And for that purpose, I need

not mention, please forward any message, you wish,

from AYSRS to any website or without my

knowledge. I don't believe in the `Copy right'

concept in spiritual matters. Spiritual knowledge is

neither `mine' nor of any particular person, it's

universal; everyone has equal right over it. True

spiritual knowledge is what's given in the original

scriptures and nobody can add an iota to that

knowledge and claim that to be one's own.
