Namaste, There is much superstition mixed in with religion in these visions. In the first place they are of the mind so ultimately unreal. If any of these saints was a Mukta their kosas would have long ago dissolved. If one wants to superimpose form on to the Higher Self, one can call it Krishna, Jesus or whatever. Visions are hallucinations within the hallucinations of the mind. To the mind anything is possible for it doesn't exist except for a bundle of thoughts. As thoughts are infinite anything can be and is imagined. We have to decide whether we are talking apples or oranges.
