Just to be boring;-I think you will find that as Jesus's background

was Essenic they had different ideas and holidays from the other

Judeans. They also had their own temple at Mt Carmel, plus they

avoided the Jerusalem Temple for they would become 'unclean' as

animals were bought and killed there.

 

Jesus going into the temple was not to do with money changing per se

but the sale of animals for sacrifice......Jesus said His Father

didn't need burnt offerings.

 

It one wished to know what Jesus was like then read Robert

Eisenman, and his description of Jesus's brother James. A complete

aesthetic renunciant. The Essenes in the main didn't drink alcohol

or ate meat. The wine described in texts is a 'Must' or non

alcoholic grape juice, also the word meat was mistranslated from the

word for food in Greek.................ONS...Tony.
