However for want of responsibility and legal definition the term 'owner' is used. Same soul just different body that's all. Most pet owners who have a spiritual bent do not see any significant difference between humans and pets, in fact probably prefer the pet. Perhaps in the dim and distant past, probably millions rather than thousands of years wild animals were domesticated. There are lot of half wolves and pet wolves here in Canada for example. Somebody broke into the shelter recently, and 19 dogs escaped, or were released. When staff turned up 18 were waiting at the back door. I find it interesting that in many Edgar Cayce readings, pets reincarnate to visit with the same family, sometimes changing species. I don't believe everything about Cayce but his 95%+ accuracy on medical reading is impressive enough even for a rampant rationalist. I feel that the role of karma takes the animal and puts in the company of humans to learn and pick up human samskaras. In this way the animal can visualise being a human on the astral and then eventually take birth as a human, on the road to Moksha. So it is all part of a karmic plan effected some way by higher beings or Devas. The animal comes to work out its own karma in the world not provide food for humans...........ONS.....Tony. --- End forwarded message ---
