Guest guest
Namaste, Pure Bhakti is complete surrender of the ego. So most of what we call devotion or bhakti is something less than that. It is more about Hope and the linear thinking of humans. There is a lack of taking responsibility, a feeling of comfort, lack of choice, a quietitude, peace of mind, a feeling that one has arrived and nothing else needs to be done as the Lord will take care of everything. This can be a huge trap, unless one realises the ego itself has to be 'merged' and given up. On the other hand on the Jnana path there is taking responsibility, a giving up of hope, and an improving of awareness. It seems more difficult and a lot drier but the end result is the same.....ONS...Tony.
