Guest guest
Namaste All, I find this book interesting comment on the error Descarte made in assuming that the mind worked in a certain way. http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/bb/damasio/descartes.html It seem patently obvious to me, being a 'believer' in the complete Ajativada, that much Advaita talked of isn't A-Dvaita at all. I do not say this to offend anyone, but obviously when people are devotees of certain gurus and Ishtadevatas, emotion comes into it in a big way. People have feelings that effect rationale, feelings being 'emotional noise' anyway. I'm not well versed in the language of the philosophies, and this may be an advantage to me, for I tend to go bluntly to the point. I don't need to know the molecular structure of water to step out of the pool of ignorance!...............Tony.
