Secondly one cannot be a fan of UG for he taught 'nothing'. Some time back somebody asked me was I reader of UG, apparently some of my statements were somewhat similar. I had only heard of JK at the time so I thought nothing else about it until recently, when UG 'disappeared'. Being a devotee of something within illusion ie Ravana, Siva and other concepts doesn't bring total moksha per se. It may bring the consciousness of the Brahmaloka, but it is still thought and all thought has to be dropped, for moksha. If you worship Saguna then you will achieve Saguna. Everything has to be dropped to achieve Nir Guna........... This is apparently similar to UG's teachings. I understand there is a prophylactic reason for religion and rituals, but they are of the neophyte really and are only useful at that level. Like a child repeating his times table in infants school. Eventually religions, beliefs, superstitions etc have to be dropped as ecoutrements and eventual impediments to the non thought state............Tony.
