Namaste Era,

 

My point wasn't David Lane per se but his sites, which include a lot

of stuff about Baba Faqir Chand and other 'anti-gurus', and their

words on meditations etc etc. So there isn't anything to disagree on.

 

As far as experiences are concerned they come from the mind and are

channeled or expressed by the brain.The altered states, and visions,

that are studied are all in the mind, for samadhi or beyond the mind

cannot be studied.

The so called cosmic self is an illusion of the substratum within

delusion. Anything that can be experienced cannot be

real.Enlightenment cannot be experienced it is beyond the mind.

 

What most people call an experience of the self is but an experience

of this substratum energy. Love is not sentiment or emotion. Otherwise

a pedophile that 'loves' his victim would be love and not egotistic

attachment.

 

As a last word on so called altered states, the last impediment to

enlightenment or realisation is bliss.....Tony.
