Deva is part of us and is conscious

intelligence as well, but broader,

not narrow like the personality and the

personality's

limited memory use type of intelligence.

 

The personality's narrow focus shuts

out most things that go on. Anyone can

become conscious of the Deva but when

they are very conscious of it, they

aren't also conscious of the personality

because the personality was just a barrier

of sorts corraling a narrow scope of

consciousness.

 

The personality doesn't

see the 'Deva' clearly as if it's 'out

there'. The broader intelligence just

sees as a Deva for a time. Occasionally,

the personality or body consciousness

might be seen as being 'out there'

instead and then one thinks they are

" not me " .

 

That doesn't

mean a Personality can't petition a

Devi to do something but in the asking,

it knows what it's really doing is to

get itself out of the way so that the

broader intelligence can come into

the conscious areas it usually

barricades. But it also knows that

the interests of the personality

are not the usually same as the interests

of the intelligence in a broader realm

so the majority of petitions are going

to be insincere.
