I think the Reformation, the French Revolution, the Glorious

Revolution of 1688 in England, and finally the American and even

Russian Revolutions, created revolutions in our minds, books and

media. This situation combined with the advance of the sciences has

shown much religion for what it is -superstition. Superstition that

many teachers came to try and correct from time to time. So when one

clears the superstition from manipulative religions we get near the

simplicity or the truth.......Even the present day Sudra or 'Working

Class' has woken up to a certain degree.Some intellectuals haven't

woken up-go to the Advaitin site if you want to see delusion and

superstition couched in terms of 'enlightenment'........Tony.
