The energy states,k-prana, started when I was a child and I thought they came off rocks I leaned against but in retrospect they were within myself. Perhaps because I personally am aware that anything within any manifestation is Saguna and not the absolute truth. I can see how people would seek them out and get addicted like Christian saints ,Sufis and ecstasy states. Presumably they would move on to the above the mind unsconscious states.
