I think there is some indication of descents of astral beings into humanoid

bodies some millions of years ago 10-20 MM years ago.

In fact in the Bagavatha Purana it talks of two separate descents. One descent

was a failure so to speak as they utilised the experience for meditation and not

procreation enough..So no doubt non dualism was extant up to 20MM years

ago.............The second descent procreated better so creating bodies for the

'mixtures' to incarnate into....................Tony.
